Hello, this is Kyungsun and Heegi Kim. We want to start the Fall 2024-25 semester by sharing prayer requests with our ministry partners.
Especially, Missionary Kyungsun is visiting Korea to check on her health, as previously shared, and to spend time meeting with ministry partners and parents there. Please pray for her health and that everything remains under God’s protection
Direction and Goal about 2024-25
In 2024-25, we want to see movements of prayer, evangelism, Bible study, and worship established on the five campuses we serve. We hope that every student will live as a multiplying disciple who makes disciples, so that we can reach 2,000 students with the Gospel.
Campus Prayer Requests
At the beginning of August, new leaders, freshmen, and first meetings will take place on each campus. We hope everything goes according to plan, but we often face challenges. Please pray that we are guided to seek God's wisdom in every circumstance.
William Paterson University
For a good start to Tuesday Evangelism, Wednesday Community, and Thursday Large Group meetings.
For the three leaders to unite with one heart and carry out campus revival.
Pray to meet over 100 students through the evangelism event for freshmen.
Pray that we reach all students with the Gospel through monthly evangelism events
NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology)
Pray that the 10 leaders can effectively lead over 6 meetings each week.
Pray for students to grow as new leaders through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the Student Leader Training and Evangelism Events in October and November.
Pray that can meet freshman at Club Fair on 9/4.
FDU Metro (Fairleigh Dickinson University Metro)
Pray for current two leaders to carry ministry in God’s guidance.
Pray that God leads and raises up 2 new leaders for the spring semester.
Pray for the Wednesday and Friday Bible study meetings, as well as the Tuesday prayer meeting. Also, pray for revival during the monthly worship services.
Pray that we reach over 200 students through the Goodie Bag evangelism event for freshmen.
Ramapo College of New Jersey
Pray that the small group meetings flow smoothly and that we can cooperate effectively with school faculty to move forward.
Pray that we establish 3 leaders and officially launch the Cru movements
Pray for a spiritual movement through gathering events in September and October.
BCC (Bergen Community College)
Pray for the expansion of our small group meetings, and for the initiation of prayer and evangelism activities.
Pray for the development of three students into leaders and for the official launch of the Cru ministry by the student 'T'.
Pray for the spread of the Gospel through evangelism activities and for a spiritual revival on campus.
NJ Cru Team General Prayer request
Pray for the NJ Cru staff retreat, the Student Leaders Summit, and the planning and preparation for the fall semester.
Pray for freshman evangelism events at over 25 campuses across NJ from August to September.
Pray for the first J-Cru Worship on 9/27 to be well-prepared and to attract many freshmen.
Pray that students attend the NJ Cru fall retreat from 10/18-22 and experience a spiritual awakening.
Pray that students attend the Winter Conference in December and participate in spring and summer missions.
Our Family Prayer requests.
Pray for the raising of $6,000 for the fall semester ministry. Additionally, our family needs $700 monthly for living costs. Please pray for connections with people who can provide financial support.
Pray for Kyungsun’s health, and that during her trip, God will help her recover both physically and emotionally through His people.
Pray for the application process for Jinseo's graduate school and Jinwhoo's college.
We need to move to a new apartment in 2025 because our rent is increasing. Please pray for God's wisdom in finding a new place.
